Amidala

Amidala is the fourteen year old girl who rule the planet Naboo. She is future wife of Anikan Skywalker and mother of Leia and Luke. She is a brave and caring ruler. She meet Anikan while acting as Padme.

She make up the plan that frees Naboo from the Trade Federation. In my opnion she take a lot of responsibility at a young age. She was elected at the age of 12!

There are five handmaidens and one queen The handmaidens names are: Rabe, Eirtae, Sabe, Sache, and Yane. None of the handmaiden are named Padme.The queen's name is Amidala. Padme Naberrie is the name she uses when she is in disguise. In other words, Padme is not really a handmaiden, she is simply Queen Amidala in disguise.When the Queen is disguised as Padme, Sabe is the decoy queen. Sabe is the queen's most important handmaiden. She is the first in line to become the decoy queen in times of danger. She looks quite similar to the real queen; even more so when she hides her features with the queen's trademark white makeup. Amidala has coached Sabe in regal bearing and speech. The queen and Sabe have secretly practiced communicating in subtle, cryptic ways. The outcome is that "Padme" can direct and assist the decoy queen without revealing her true identity.Only Rabe, Eirtae and Sabe accompany the queen when she escapes from Naboo on the Royal Starship. Sache and Yane remain behind. Therefore, any time you see a handmaiden in a scene that isn't on Naboo, that handmaiden is either Rabe, Eirtae, Sabe, or Padme. It's easy to recognize Padme, and Sabe is usually dressed as the decoy when she's on the screen, so that leaves only Rabe and Eirtae. And indeed, in the scene where Amidala talks with Senator Palpatine prior to the senate address, the queen in flanked by two handmaidens--Eirtae and Rabe.

· Rabe, though very young, possesses the virtue of patience. This is very useful for her, considering she is also the handmaiden responsible for helping Queen Amidala prepare her extravagent hairstyles, a task which may take as long as several hours.

· Eirtae, born to a wealthy family in a remote Naboo river valley, is extremely well-aquainted with etiquette and royal protocol, and assists the other handmaidens--as well as the queen--to this end.

· All of the handmaidens, selected at the time of Queen Amidala's coronation based on intelligence, courage, and fitness, have been trained as bodyquards, proficient in the use of the Royal Pistol, and able to defend the queen in the event of an emergency. Captain Panaka, always mindful of potential dangers, has personally supervised the Queen's training in the martial arts, including regular pistol practice at a secure palace firing range. The royal pistol was specially designed for Amidala and her handmaidens, its size and weight making it a perfect and natural extension of the hand. The Queen's entourage, from the Theed Palace guards to her personal handmaidens, are also trained by Panaka to add to the Queen's safety. But it is paramount to Queen Amidala that she be able to rely on her own marksmanship and her own weaponry to defend herself in a crisis.
