Some of the SDF-1's Adventures As They Try to Get Home

In the year 1999, an alien ship crashes on Earth on a small Island called Macross. Most of the ship inside survived the burning enter into earth atmosphere because of the armor that cover the ships haul. There were no crewmembers abroad the ship, so it is assumed that the alien passengers did not survive the crash. This event causes the civil war, which had been raging on Earth to come to an end. The Earth's People rebuilt the mysterious alien ship and are celebrating it's first take off. Henny Gloval is the general of the SDF-1. The people of earth are having a huge air show during this party, we meet one of the heroes, Rick Hunter, who is a close friend of Roy Fakker, the Charismatic leader of the famed 'Skull Squadron' and combat veteran of the recent Global Civil War. He plays a major role in the begining of the series. He dies later on and it is a major thing in the show. Especially to Claudia who is his long time girl friend and is one of the bridge workers on the SDF-1. Rick will become the leader of the "Skull Squadron," and one of the lead characters in the show. While the people of Earth are celebrating, the Zentraedi scout ship show up. Unknown to the people of Earth, the ship has been booby traped. It fires in the middle of the show and begins the war. In the first fight you learn that the fighters, which look like jets, are able to transform into three models. They can look like a jet, or a jet with legs and a human-like robot.

The Zentraedi are 50 feet tall, making them giant! They want the SDF-1 which contains Protoculture Matrix, it is their way of making more Zentraedi. They are a race completely dedicated to war, they know nothing of love, only war. They are a war-dominated culture. They either win the fight or they die. During the first fight, you also meet Lisa Hayes another one of the bridge workers on the SDF-1. She ends up falling in love with Rick, but it takes them a long time to actually admit they are in love with each other. Lynn Minmei is another character who is a young girl and a singer. She ends up being the thing that tears the Zentraedi people apart, since she sings the song of love. (They never heard songs before). Before they learn that they have to go though a ton of things. During the first fight the SFD-1 or the Macross use a teleportation. They end up at Pluto and they take most of Macross city with them. So the people rebuild their city inside the ship. On there journey home, they learn how to use the Marcoss cannons. The Marcoss cannons are very powerful weapons that the alien ship has. The whole way home they are battling the Zentraedi fleet and trying to learn who they are. They fight at Jupiter and land on Mars where they fall prey to a sneak attack the Zentreadi set up. I don't want to spoil the show for you to much, but it a real good show. This show is filled with adventure, love, and action.
