These are my thoughts and ideas about the show. I think what makes this show so good is that it has many ideas behind it. It has lots of action for the trill seekers and romance for the romantic types. It also shows how sad war can be and how no one really wins at war. It show how you can turn a person who is your enemy into your allies if you just learn why they are fighting you. I like the characters they are well developed with each having their very own unique personality. 

I also like how they make you feel, kind like you're part of the show. I love the space battles and the music is great, it pulls you into the show. It is also kind of funny how final earth people are all united and then their destruction comes from the stars, by an alien races they do not understand. It also shows how hard it is to sometimes tell or admit you are in love with another. The Zentreadi are very unique idea, a whole race dedicated to war, thats pretty original. I also like how they show how different cultures can be and the beliefs people hold are so very different. I think it was a cool to have the Zentreadi be so effected by songs, they think it a weapon. Thats strange to think of music as a weapon but it turns out that it can be used that way against the powerful Zentreadi. 

I also like the rest of the series, which is made up of three more sagas. They are South Cross, Sentinel and one more was made in Japan, but I don't know the name of it. They also made a movie called Macross which I am not sure where it lays in the Robotech time line, but its a good movie. In the movie they change the alien control,the Zentreadi, and use music as only a weapon (they sing the song of death).
